A little hello to check in and see where you are at people.
Do you cook with wild plants?
Are you interested to know more about what to use and how to use it?
It is an interesting subject, that for me is one very important one. I think the next step in the cooking world is to be able to get out in the local fields and pick your ingredients yourself (and managing getting the time for it). We have to get educated and also educate... Share the knowledge!
When the spring came this year, I was out in the fields almost everyday studying the 'happenings' of the nature step by step and I got to know many new flowers and plants in the area of the Basque Country. Only a month later, today, they are gone and new plants and flowers are presence. So new plants to study. It is incredible how the nature is shifting.

For me cooking is an art. But I don't like to complicate things up too much, especially when you get the best result with fresh and pure ingredients. Cook a plate I do best with my intuition, quality products, sense of smell and taste, how i vision it and what I feel for. I love cooking vegetarian foods, it is definitely what inspires me the most. Sometimes I also eat meat like local grass fed beef or local fish, when my body needs it. You can call it locavore qualitarian.

See you soon !
