Chocolate truffles

Chocolate truffles with natural sweet and organic ingredients.


Recipe

Ingredients:
- 60g pitted dates(preferable medjool dates), soaked for 15 minutes
- 30g almond flour
- 1/2 dl pure cacao powder
- (optional 1 double espresso)
- 50 gram(20gram for batter and 30 gram for coating) almonds, roasted + 20 gram coarsely chopped for coating
- Some water for the mixing part



Preparation;
Heat oven to 175°C. Roast the almonds for 15 minutes.
Soak the dates for 15 minutes. 
Chop or gently crush the roasted almonds in with a mixer to coarsely pieces.
In a food processor mix the dates, almond flour and cacao powder  until combined, add water and pulse until a batter starts to form. Knead the batter in a bowl and shape into round balls, about 15-20g each. Roll the balls in the chopped almonds.
Cool in refrigerator about 30 minutes before serving, preferable.
