Hello guys !
I hope you started the year in magic moods.
As you know my book is now OUT. And I am more than excited to hear what you think about it. If you didn't order it yet you can get it online here. And in french: here.
I have this recipe I feel like sharing with you, that I created this summer.. I continuing doing it for myself and for work.
You know when you feel like chocolate.... But you want to have something more .. REAL. Like big filling thing that keeps you from eating a whole chocolate cake?
THAT'S the feeling man.
This is like the perfect smooth and crunchy chocolate bomb you wish for. At least if you ask me...
Double Chocolate Cube
makes 6 cubes
16 dates, soaked
100g gluten free oats
1,5 tbsp coconut oil
40g cacao powder
80g dark chocolate, I use 85%
a tiny bit of water or coffee
Take out the seed in the dates, and mix them in a kitchen aid with a little bit of water to help the mixing process and creamy texture.
Make a water bath and melt the dark chocolate.
Meanwhile mix all the rest of the ingredients with the dates. Mix until it becomes like a creamy paste almost. If it doesn't mix well, add some more liquid (your choice of water or coffee :)
Now take out the paste from the mixer and put on a baking paper.
With help of the baking paper, with your fingers or using a knife form into a square shaped cube. Now cut into your wished Cube size, and separate them but still leaving them on the baking paper.
Take the chocolate, that is now melted, and use a spatula to cover the cubes with it.
Put on a plate and in the fridge to cool for 30 minutes before serving.
Enjoy !!
xx
