Cacao & Carob bite with orange zest...

Recipe
Servings; about 20 "bites"

Ingredients:

100g raisins
7 dates
water
- soak it over night.

300g almonds
200g pumpkin seeds
50g sesame seeds
5 tbsp raw cacao powder
1 tbsp carob powder (to put on top)
orange zest from 1-2 organic(!) oranges

Soak the raisins and dates over night(a few hours is fine).
Mix the seeds and the cacao powder, until it gets a crunchy texture (i like it better when it's not too fine as a flour - so i always leave some pieces). Put it in a bowl on the side.
Rinse the raisins and the dates, take out the seeds, and blend until "creamy". You might need to add some water if it's too dry for the blender to mix.

Add everything together in the bowl. Mix and place it evenly in a square baking dish(normally around 30cm x 21cm ) with help from your hands.

With a small strainer, sprinkle carob powder over the "cake".

Leave in fridge for minimum 3 hours.

Prepare orange zest.
Take out, cut in optional sized squares (4x5).

Add the zest on top of each bite.

Ready to serve!

Good luck and have fun,
Lina
